Linda Kay Sullivan Day of Waldorf, MD died on June 10, 2013 at Georgetown Hospital in Washington, DC. She was 54 years old.

Daughter of the late Thomas Lee Adkins and the living Joan Elizabeth Little Adkins. Survived by her husband of six years, Owen K. Day; four sons, Michael V. Clements and his wife Rachael, James L. Sullivan, Anthony W. Clements, and Charles W. Day and his wife Brandy; two daughters, Cheryl L. Ryba and husband James and Cindy M. Day; three brothers, Thomas L. Adkins, Jr. and wife Robin, Kevin B. Watkins and wife Kathy, and Brian K. Watkins and wife Jennifer; and two sisters, Joann M. McGowan and husband Steven and Stacey R. Crowe and husband Greg. Also survived by seven grandchildren.

Linda was a business manager for 18 years with the Greater Waldorf Jaycees and a property manager of the Jaycees Elderly Housing Development. She was a volunteer with the Charles County Hospice Festival of Trees. She loved crafts and birds and was dedicated to her family and grandkids.

A memorial service was held at Raymond Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 14, 2013 with private interment. Memorials are asked to Greater Waldorf Jaycees Foundation, Inc., 3090 Crain Highway, Waldorf, MD 20601.
