Marion M. "Selby" Robey passed away at the age of 88 peacefully on May 12, 2013 at the Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, MD of brain cancer. She was born on September 2, 1924 in Cove Point, MD.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles William Catterton and her mother, Alice Victoria Ridgell Catterton; her husbands, Bernard C. Selby and Hubert I. Robey; her brother, James W. Catterton; and her half-sister, Edna Sommers.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Thompson and husband H. Brian; her son, James "Eddie" Selby and wife Tena Crosariol; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and special friend William "Wenk" Atkinson.

She volunteered her time to Meals on Wheels, Neighbors Eager to Serve (NETS), and the United Methodist Women, and any other organization to help others in need.

A private burial will be on May 18 in Cove Point, MD followed by a Memorial Service at 12:30PM at the Indian Head United Methodist Church.
