Conchita T. Tomasello, a long time Washington D.C. resident, born in Santa Rosa de Copan, Honduras on November 2, 1922, peacefully passed away at home on May 7, 2013 under the loving care of her niece Beth Ann and her husband Mark Shelton.

She was the first woman accepted as a law student at Garcia Flamenco University, San Salvador, El Salvador. While a student, she was a proofreader at El Diario Nacional. She was employed as a bilingual interpreter at Dewey, Ballentine & Sons law firm, New York, New York. After several years of service, she retired from the World Bank, Washington D.C. She enjoyed her family, the arts, travel, and nature.

She is preceded by her husband Andrea Tomasello and her sister Yolanda Vestbom.

She is survived by her loving sisters residing in California, Isabel Gomez, Julia Jermstad, Margo Keogh, and brother-in-law John Keogh. She leaves behind several generations of loving nieces and nephews.

Grave-site services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. May 10th, 2013 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, Maryland.
