Marge Oliver, 93, of La Plata, MD died May 10, 2013 in Waldorf, MD.

She was born on January 8, 1920 in Welcome, MD to the late John S. Greer, Jr. and Mary Carol Greer. She is also predeceased by her brothers Carlisle, McCarthy, John and Earl Greer, sisters Ethel Hicks and Beulah Scott.

She is survived by her son James W. Oliver, Jr. and his wife Saundra Lee Oliver, grandchildren Jaime Lee Oliver and Lee J. Oliver, nephew Mack Greer, nieces Mary Hill, Constance Thompson, and Tina Eaton. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and other family members.

Marge was the switch Board Operator and Information Operator at the Charles County Court House. She volunteered at Physicians Memorial Hospital for 15 years at the information desk. She loved politics and was a member of the Western Charles Democratic Club and the Sacred Heart Sodality.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 13th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with prayers at 7 PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 14th 10 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Plata, MD. Interment will be at a later date.
