Carrie Anita Scheungrab, 85, of Waldorf, MD, passed on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Genesis Healthcare in LaPlata, MD. Carrie was born November 15, 1927 in Croom, MD to the late Wilmer A. and Pearl M. Brady.

Carrie loved her family and playing bingo. She was a homemaker and was a childcare provider for Charles County Social Services.

She was predeceased by her husband, John M. Scheungrab, daughter-in-law, June M. Scheungrab, brothers, Archie Brady, Victor Brady and sister, Sara Mae Lintner.

She is survived by her children, Rosemary Nalborczyk (John) of Nanjemoy, MD, John J. Scheungrab of Mechanicsville, MD, Michael C. Scheungrab (Carol) of Mechanicsville, MD and Pearl A. Kosky (Michael) of Hughesville, 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for Carrie's visitation on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with prayers at 7:00 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 3320 St. Peters Drive, Waldorf, MD on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Father Zygmunt Kurzawinski will officiate. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
