Edward Carl Sokolowski, Jr., 78, of Ridge, MD died December 7, 2007 in St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, MD.
Born July 31, 1929 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Edward C. and Anna Raleigh Sokolowski. Mr. Sokolowski served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1951 to 1953. He was the owner of Precision Cabinets in Washington, DC from 1956 until he retired in 1985. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Mechanicsville, MD and the American Legion Post #255 in Ridge, MD.

He is survived by a daughter, Ann Ryan and her husband Charles of Fayetteville, PA and a son, Daniel Sokolowski and his wife Shirley of Burtonsville, MD, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Sabo Sokolowski.

The family received friends for Mr. Sokolowski's Celebration of Life on Monday, December 10, 2007 in the Brinsfield Life Celebration Chapel, Leonardtown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Ridge, MD. The Reverend Maurice O'Connell was the celebrant. Inurnment will be private.
