William F. Schrider, 80, of La Plata, MD died April 9, 2013 in his home. He was born on June 10, 1932 in Washington, DC to the late Bernard E. and Mary Frances Schrider. He is also predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years Mary Chizuko Schrider and his brother Bernard L. Schrider.

He is survived by his sons Leo E. Schrider of Oakland, CA. and John E. Schrider and his wife Lori of Berkeley Springs, WV. daughter Agnes F. Schrider of Nellysford, VA., sister Mary Ann Babendreir, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in La Plata, MD. A member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed gardening.

The family will receive friends on Sunday April 14, 2013 from 5 to 8 PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday April 15, 2013 10 AM at the Sacred Heart Church La Plata, MD. Interment to follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Washington, DC.
