Denise Ellen Norris, 63 of Port Tobacco died April 5, 2013 at Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf.

Born October 30, 1949 in Washington, DC she was the daughter of Paul Vincent Noonan and the late Mary Margaret Reidy-Noonan.

In addition to her father she is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Harvey Norris of Port Tobacco, MD, a son: John Henry Norris; A daughter: Christine Mary Norris; two grandchildren: Haylie N. Norris and Taylor M. Norris; four brothers: Paul Noonan, Jr., Geoff Noonan, Matt Noonan, and Steve Noonan; five sisters: Pat Dorsz, Peggy Rosenberg, Laura Charuas, Mary Noonan and Barbara Kohler.

Mrs. Norris was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who hold a special place in her heart. She loved to travel with her family and a nice beach was her favorite destination. She had many close girlfriends and they enjoyed luncheons, wineries, movies, and slots.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Ave., La Plata, MD 20646. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 9:00 AM at St. Ignatius Chapel Point, in Port Tobacco, MD. Father Tom Clifford will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Charles County.
