Frank Camalier Bell, Sr., 74, of Leonardtown, MD passed away April 3, 2013 at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, Florida. He was the son of the late Thomas Webster Bell, Sr. and Mary Catherine (Sterling) Bell.
Frank was one of 6 children. Frank graduated from St. Mary's Academy, Class of 1953 and attended Mt. St. Joe in Baltimore, MD graduating in 1956. He then attended General Motors Institute in Flint, MI graduating in 1958. Frank was a lifetime member of the Leonardtown Lions Club, serving 50 years. He worked at the family owned dealership, Bell Motor Company in Leonardtown, MD all during his school years until retiring December 31, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife Diane Garner Bell whom he married on May 2, 1959 at Holy Face Catholic Church in Great Mills MD. He is also survived by 3 children, Debra Marie Jensen, Frank Camalier Bell, Jr., and Donald Webster Bell; son in law Ron Jensen; four grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Jensen, Kyle Austin Jensen, Sterling Camalier Bell and Pierce Franklin Bell; his brother Joseph Ernest Bell II "Ernie" and sister Katherine Elizabeth Atlas; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Margaret Ann Bell, Ruth Matilda Swann and Thomas Webster Bell, Jr. The family will receive friends for Frank's Life Celebration on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Prayers will be recited at 7 pm followed by Leonardtown Lions Club prayers at 7:15 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father James Meyers on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 10 am at St Aloysius Catholic Church, 22800 Washington Street, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD. Serving as pallbearers will be TW Bell, Andy Bell, Gary Bell, Mark Bell, Michael Bell, and Patrick Bell.
