Edward James Kirby 35 of Lexington Park, MD. Died at St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, MD on March 25, 2013. He was born in Trenton, NJ on September 16, 1977 to James C. and Pamela J. Kirby.

He is also survived by his daughters Lauren Harper, Gabrielle and Trinity Kirby, sisters Chemaine Kirby-Gibson (Paul) and Ashley Kirby-Blithe (William), nieces Jazele, Kelsie, and Kerbie Gibson.

He played youth football for the western Charles Skyhawk's as well as wrestling for them; he also played Baseball in the Bryans Road Little League. He graduated from Gwynn Park High school where he was captain of the football, baseball and wrestling teams. He was all honorable mention for wrestling his senior year as well as all county. He won the championship in Prince Georges county and finished 3rd in the state.

He was in the US Marine corp. receiving awards such as Marine of the year. He became an Air Force reservist after his 8 years as a Marine. He was a good father and was very involved with them.

The family will receive friends on Saturday March 30, 2013 from 9 AM to service time at 11:30 AM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home La Plata, MD. Interment with Marine Honors will follow at the Trinity Memorial Gardens Waldorf, MD.
