Alexander Trifu, of Waldorf, MD died at his residence on March 22, 2013. He was 73 years old. Born on March 5, 1940 in Serbia, he was the son of the late Vidasova and the late Jefta Trifu.

Mr. Trifu was a retired New York building facility Manager. He attended the Apostolic Christian Church in Upper Marlboro, MD.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister the late Draga Dimitrovic.

He is survived by his wife Svetlana; his daughters Violeta Trifu and Vida Hanson; his sons Vlada Trifu, Peter Trifu and Steven Trifu; his brother Stevan Trifu; his grandchildren Victoria L. Trifu, Rebecca A. Bland, Julia A. Trifu, Brandon A. Hanson and Diana M. Trifu.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 29, 2013 from 7PM until 9PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Funeral service will be on Saturday, March 30, 2013 beginning at 10AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Internment will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
