Donald Karl Rye, 42, of Waldorf, MD passed away at his residence on March 18, 2013. He was born on February 28, 1971 in Fairfax, VA to the late Carolyn Sue (Bond) and Donald Calvert Rye of Brandywine, MD.

He was the Vice President for J.E. Richards Electric in Beltsville, MD. Donald loved spending time with his family and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating.

In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his sister, Karon Sue Yeatman of Deale, MD.

Donald is survived by his wife, Candi Lynn Rye of Waldorf, MD; his children, Daniel Justin Rye of Waldorf, MD, and Lexi Michele Rye of Waldorf, MD; his brother, Michael Steven Rye of Charlotte Hall, MD, and 11 nieces & nephews.

Family and friends will be received for Donald's visitation on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. There will be a Service to celebrate Donald's Life on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow to Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601. A reception will follow immediately at Baden Volunteer Fire Department in Brandywine, MD. Pallbearers will be: Mike Rye, Sr., Sonny Yeatman, Joe Herbert, Tim Lawson, Pete McNamara, and Jimmy Francinques. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ed McCarty and Joe Richards.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Candi Rye for a trust to benefit their children - Daniel & Lexi Rye.
