Yanda Lee Righter of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away on Sunday Feb 24, 2013 at St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania at the age of 76. She was born on December 21, 1936 to the late Richard L. Charles and Katherine L. Middleton.

She was active in the community and contributed greatly to the Waldorf Little League Ladies Auxillary in Waldorf, Maryland. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, watching the Food Network and loved watching her Philadelphia Phillies during baseball season.

She is survived by her loving husband George Righter, her daughter Stacie, and sons Stewart, Scott, Billy and Troy, as well as her grandchildren Scotty, Christopher, Chelsea, Jordan, Cassandra, Nicholas, Zachary, Scarlett, Alex, Lukas and Carleigh, and her great grandchildren Emma and Alexis.

The family will receive friends at Huntt Funeral Home in Waldorf, Maryland on Friday March 1, 2013 from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 8pm. The funeral service will be held at the Huntt Funeral Home on March 2, 2013 at 11am, and burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, Maryland.
