Robert Plott, amazingly loving father of Brian (Heidi) Plott, Frances (Ralf) Lautieri, Bruce (Jennie) Plott, grandfather of Nicole (James) Marshall, Brianne Plott, Emily Plott, Michael Lautieri, Brooke Plott, Robert William Plott, Destinee Stafford, Brian Stafford, great-grandfather of Shae Justice, Bailey Lautieri, Sidney Marshall, and retired 42-year employee and former Chief of the United States Corps of Engineers' Flood Plain Management Division, passed away Saturday night after battling cancer.

Mr. Plott's family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 27 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 at Lee Funeral Home, 8200 Jennifer Lane, Owings, MD20736. A mass and Christian Burial will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 11600 Kemp Mill Road, Silver Spring, MD 20902 on Thursday, February 28 at 11:00 am followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, Maryland.
