James Cameron Meyers of Waldorf, MD died on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Southern MD Hospital in Clinton, MD. He was 54 years old.

Mr. Meyers was a disabled worker for the Spring Dell Center in La Plata, MD and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lonaconing, MD. He grew up in Lonaconing and came to Southern MD in 1998. He participated in Charles County Special Olympics and was excellent in the softball throw. His favorite was high school basketball with Valley High School in Lonaconing.

Son of the late John C. Meyers Sr. and the late Elizabeth Cameron Meyers.

Predeceased by his parents.

Survived by one brother: John C. (Catherine) Meyers, Jr. of La Plata, MD; and one nephew: Evan Meyers of La Plata, MD. Also survived by a number of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation: Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 11AM until time of Funeral Service at 1PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Clergy: Rev. Mark Roberson. Interment: At a later date at St. Mary's Church Cemetery in Lonaconing, MD.
