Leonard Alexander Jameson, Jr., 69, of Byrdstown, TN passed away peacefully at his home on January 25, 2013. Born March 1, 1943 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Leonard Alexander Jameson, Sr. and Elizabeth McDermott Jameson Litz.

Linny worked as a Computer Systems Analyst for the State Department. In 1996, he retired & moved to Pickett County, TN where he enjoyed many rounds of golf, working on antique cars & fishing on Dale Hollow Lake. An avid sports fan, he often followed the Nationals, Orioles, Redskins & Ravens.

Predeceased by his parents, Linny is survived by his wife, Patricia "Patsy" Clevenger Jameson; daughter, Karen White of Brandywine, MD; sons, Ronnie Jameson of Mechanicsville, MD and Paul Jameson of Hollywood, MD; sisters, Donna Conway of Cape Coral, FL, Debbie Herbert of Dunkirk, MD and Gayle Clare of Providence, RI. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for Linny's Life Celebration on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. With prayers at 7:00.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. The Rev. Rory T. Conley will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 13715 Notre Dame Place, Bryantown, MD 20617.
