William Michael Wayne Zimmerman of Newburg, Maryland, died on Friday, December 7, 2012 at his residence. He was 30 years old. Born on June 13, 1982 in La Plata, Maryland he is the son of Virginia Costuros and Clifton Zimmerman.

Wayne was a heavy equipment operator with Sandy Excavating. He served in the U. S. Navy for two years. Graduated from La Plata High School, a member of the Class of 2000. He played baseball in his youth and all through high school. He enjoyed hunting.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his son Carter Wayne Zimmerman and his mother Brittany Goldsmith; his sisters, Nancy Zimmerman and Carol Zimmerman; his brother Gary Bridgewater; his niece Kara; his nephews London, Jacob and Tyler.

Visitation on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 11AM until 12Noon at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Funeral Service on Saturday, December 15, 2012 beginning at 12Noon at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646 with the Reverend Tom Cogle officiating. Interment will be private.
