Charlottie Annette Van Brunt, 63, of Lexington Park, MD died at her home on December 7, 2012. Born on April 9, 1949, in Dover, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Charles Woods and Mary Jelly Woods.

On July 8, 1967, she married her beloved husband of 45 years, Vernon Francis Van Brunt. She was employed at the Newark Star Ledger for 18 years as a Zone Supervisor before her retirement. In February 2007, she moved to St. Mary's County from Hopatcong, NJ. She was an active member of the Patuxent Presbyterian Church. She also enjoyed needlepoint, knitting and many other arts and crafts.

In addition to her husband, Charlottie is survived by her children, Charlene Marie Chesbro (Christopher) of Great Mills, MD and Theodore Francis Van Brunt, (Glori) of Lexington Park, MD; and her grandchildren, Crysta Chesbro, Collin Chesbro, Sean Van Brunt, Danielle Van Brunt, and Erik Van Brunt. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Woods and her sister, Barbara White.

A Life Celebration Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. The service will be conducted by Pastor Mike Jones, Patuxent Presbyterian Church. Interment will be private.
