Swann, Jerame Derrick (Age 25) of Mechanicsville, MD.

On September 13, 1987, the Swann's added to their family. It was a son and his name was Jerame Derrick Swann. On Tuesday, December 4, 2012, their family suffered a loss when Jerame suddenly stepped into eternity.

Jerame was born in Washington, DC to Allen and Mary Swann. He attended public school and graduated from Chopticon High School in 2007. After graduation, Jerame worked for several employers including Copsey Seafood, McKays and Cord Cabinetry. In 2008, he began working with his Dad contracting for PEPCO.

Jerame loved and was deeply loved by his family, whom he enjoyed spending time with. He was a devoted son who took pleasure in playing Santa Claus at the family Christmas parties. He also enjoyed hanging out with his Uncle "E," brothers and friends. His presence will be missed but his memory will live on.

Jerame was preceded in death by his two grandmothers, Louise Swann and Carrie Thompson; Grandfather, Raymond Thompson and one cousin Joshua Jones.

Left to cherish many happy memories are his parents, Allen and Mary Swann; three brothers, Allen, Jr., Lawerance and Branden; grandfather, Lawrence Swann; two sisters-in-law, Nicole and Andrea; three nieces, Brook, Chloe and Dystiny; one nephew, Logan "his heart;" five uncles, five aunts, a host of family and friends.

His viewing will be Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm in the Thornton Funeral Home Chapel, Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 10th at 10:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 4590 St. Josephs Way, Pomfret, MD. Interment, Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
