Robert Wayne Gardiner 68 of Clinton, Md. Died on December 1, 2012 at his home. He was born on May 3, 1944 in La Plata, Md. to the late William R. and Mary I. Gardiner. He is also predeceased by his wife Jane M. Gardiner.

He is survived by his daughter Krista and her husband Greg Keysar, grandchildren Eliana and Evan Keysar, Brothers William Gardiner, Randy Gardiner, Harold Gardiner, Gerald Gardiner, Sisters Dorothy Sullivan, Betty Ann Dateno, Kay Simmons, Linda Walter, Janice Gardiner and Mary Jean Williams.

Robert graduated from St. Mary's School in Bryantown, Md. then going to the University of Maryland graduating from there with high honors. He was an Auditor for the Internal Revenue Service, a member of the Moose Club and the Sons of the American Revolution, and he enjoyed feeding the squirrels and hunting.

The family will receive friends on Thursday December 13th from 6 to 8pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, 211 St. Mary's Ave. La Plata, Md. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday December 14th at 11 am at the St. Mary's Church Bryantown, Md. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.
