Enid Claire "Granny" Geris, 71, of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away at Washington Hospital Center on November 7, 2012. She was born August 8, 1941 in England to the late Michael W. Brennan and the late Winnie (Faulkner) Brennan.

Granny enjoyed crocheting, watching movies, and playing cards. Granny took great pleasure in spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren.

Aside from her parents, Enid is predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Thomas Leo Geris, Jr.

Enid is survived by her sons, Thomas Leo Geris, III., David Wayne Geris, and Michael William Geris; her daughter, Linda Marie Hamilton; her brother, James Brennan; and her 7 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received for Enid's Life Celebration on Monday, November 12, 2012. There will be a Memorial Gathering from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Memorial Service will start at 7:00 PM. Rev. William McClean, Jr. will officiate. The Committal Service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012, 10:00 AM, at Maryland Veteran Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD 20623.
