Shirley Ann Downey died October 24, 2007 at her home in Harwood. Born January 26, 1939 in Washington D.C.

Ms. Downey is survived by three daughters, Shirley Ann Jones of Harwood, Jacqueline Marie Downey of Harwood, Patricia Arlette Downey of Chesapeake Beach; two sons John Edward Downey of Accokeek, Charles (Sonny) Jones of Mechanicsville; nine grandchildren and four great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 on Sunday and 10 to 11 on Monday followed by the funeral at Rasch Funeral Home, 8325 Mt. Harmony Ln, Owings. Burial will be in Chesapeake Highlands Cemetary in Broomes Island.
