Mrs. Biggs was a homemaker and a member of Christ Episcopal Church in La Plata. She worked throughout her entire life on the family farm and in her earlier years worked for the Times Crescent Newspaper in La Plata. She enjoyed word search puzzles, reading, and dining out.

She is the daughter of the late Walter Wesley Beall and the late Myrtle Lusby Beall.

Along with her parents, she is also predeceased by three late brothers; one late grandchild, John L. Goddard; one late great- grandchild, Bailey Bernard. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William Thomas Biggs; five daughters, Brenda M. (Leonard) Goddard of La Plata, MD, Sherri L. (Ralph) Grieninger of Boise, Idaho, Donna K. (Charles) Sasscer of Park Hall, MD, Carla J. (William) Burch of La Plata, MD, and Amy E. (Carlos) Lopez of Clarksville, TN; also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Her Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 from 2- 4PM and 6-8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Ave., La Plata, MD 20646). Her Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 1:30PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel with clergy Rev. Mark Roberson. Her internment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD. Pallbearers will be Leonard Goddard, Ralph Grieninger, Dean Padgett, Glenn Rollins, Michael Farrell, and Carlos Lopez.
