Suddenly on October 19, 2012 beloved daughter of Thande Njuguna and Margaret Thande passed on to be with her Lord and Saviour. She was born December 11, 1992 in Nairobi, Kenya and resided in Waldorf, Maryland at the time of her passing.
She attended Charles County Public Schools. In 2011 she graduated from North Point High School with honors. She was the founder and editor of North Point High School's Eagle Eye school periodical. She was currently in her sophomore year at the University of Maryland majoring in Business Management. Her ultimate goal was to continue her studies to become a Pharmacist. She was a member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church in Annandale, Virginia. Wairimu was a very talented artist and writer in which she had received numerous awards for her work. Playing the piano, guitar, and singing were a few of her favorite hobbies and talents. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially Morgan Askew, and Christine Gichane her best friends. In addition to her parents Wairimu is survived by her brother Njuguna and sister Murugi Thande. Maternal grandmother Keziah Wachira, paternal grandmother Hannah Njuguna, a host of of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Jospeh Wachira, and paternal grandfather Samuel Njuguna. The family will receive friends on Saturday October 27, 2012 from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm at the Good Samaritan Presbyterian Church 13025 Good Samaritan Drive Waldorf, Maryland. Interment will take place at Heritage Memorial Cemetery in Waldorf. Arrangements by Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home. |
