Mr. Hyde was a truck driver for 10 years with Tayman Trucking in Hughesville, MD. He was a graduate of Lackey High School Class of 1996 and a member of the Nanjemoy Volunteer Fire Department. He was known as a "Jack of All Trades" and an avid Los Angeles Raiders football fan. He enjoyed being with his family and friends and his dog "Tank."

He is the son of the living Joseph Hearald Hyde, Jr. and the living Deborah Ann Buchannan Perry.

He is predeceased by his grandfather, Calvin Buchanan.

He is survived by his parents; his step-mother Kimberly Hyde; his beloved companion Rachel Meade; one daughter, Alexis Hyde of Hollywood, MD; his brother, Bradley Hyde of Jefferson, MD; his sister, Jennifer Lynn Hyde of Mechanicsville, MD; paternal grandmother, Mary P. Hyde of Leonardtown, MD; maternal grandmother, Betty Mae Buchanan of Pomfret, MD; two aunts, Carla (Andrew) Curtis of White Plains, MD and Beverly (Joe) Driver of Clarksville, VA; two nephews, Jeremy and Jared Hyde; and three cousins, Courtney Curtis of White Plains, MD, Rochelle Anthony of OH, and Derrick Strubel of Japan.

His Visitation will be on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 5-8PM with Funeral Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Interment will be at a later date.
