Harold Roberts Turner, Jr. (Sonny), of Mechanicsville, MD departed this life at home in the arms of his loving family September 29, 2007. He was 66 years of age.

Graduated 1959 from Owen J. Roberts H.S. in Pottstown PA.

Served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 until his retirement in 1979 to the community of Golden Beach in Mechanicsville, MD.

He loved bowling, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.

Born May 26, 1941 in Phoenixville, PA. Son of the late Harold Roberts Turner, Sr. and Lillian Mae Gephart-Turner

His wife of 43 years Shirley A. Turner, Children Robert Turner, Beverly Turner & husband Danny, Brian Turner & wife Mary survive him. Six grandchildren Amanda, Jennifer, Danielle, Richard, Kelsi & Kassidy. Great Grandson Austin, Sister Sally Lou Finagan, and lot's of other family & friends.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Victory Baptist Church, 29855 Elorado Farm Lane, Mechanicsville, MD where Funeral Services will be held today, Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 11AM with Pastor Robert Kyner. Interment will follow at Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
