Doris Jean Jenkins, 61, of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away September 17, 2012 at her home. Born October 8, 1950 in Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Omie and Ernest Jones.

Formerly from Virginia and Orange Park, FL, Doris was a cosmetologist. She loved to fish and lay in the sun.

She is survived by her daughter, Christina Brady (Bernie Brady) of Mechanicsville, MD; her siblings, Charlie Jones, Mary, Loraine, and Buddy; and her grandchildren, Bernie Brady, Michael Brady, and Nya Willow Stroderman.

All arrangements are being handled by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, and MD 20622.

The family will have a private Memorial Service.
