Carol Diane Rossman-Griffin of Waldorf, MD died on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at her reidence. She was 75 years old.

Carol was a media specialist for 24 years with the Charles County Board of Education. Prior to her work with the Board of Education, she was a supervisor of claims with GEICO Insurance for 11 years. She loved shopping, family get-togethers, decorating her house, and helping others. She was a very giving person and devoted to her family.

Daughter of the late Earl E. Rossman and the late Viola McGinnis Rossman.

Predeceased by her parents; one son Timothy A. Griffin.

Survived by her husband of 41 years Albert H. Griffin, Jr.; two sons Andy E. Anderson of Cobb Island, MD and Terry L. Griffin of Alexandria, VA; two daughters Carmen V. (Richard) Rice of Mechanicsville, MD and Carol E. (Donald) Hardy, Jr., of La Plata, MD; one sister Roberta Howson of Mass.; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Funeral Service on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Clergy: Rev. Kavin Rossman Pallbearers: Andy E. Anderson, Terry Griffin, Richie Rice, Ryan and Kyle Hardy, and Matthew Menke. Interment: Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
