Passed away Oct 2, 2007 at Northeast Hospital in Concord, NC. at the age of 71. She was born Tuesday May 19, 1936. She is the daughter of the late William N. Elliott and Mary Adele (Morgan) Elliott. She lived most of her life in Southern Maryland and was born in Oraville, Md. She was a long time employee of Town Inn in Leonardtown, Md. Mary is survived by sons Joseph and Billy Goldsborough and daughter Estelle Pilkerton, four grandchildren Roger, Derek, Kelly and Melissa and one great grandchild Justin. Sisters, Geneva Harrison and Warnetta Reist of Concord, N.C., Mary Ann Murphy and husband, David of Mechanicsville, Md. and Brother, William N. Elliott Jr. and wife Charlene of California, Md. She has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts in Southern Md.
Memorial services were held at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel - Concord, N.C. on Saturday October 6, 2007 at 11:00am and laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Park in Harrisburg, N.C. Honorary Pallbearers: Thomas Williams, Buddy Reist, Richard Williams, Billy Goldsborough, SSgt Dwight Carter Jr. and Richard Weaver.
