Alesia was an accountant for twenty years with Chevy Chase Bank. She was a volunteer with AARP Tax Preparations at the Richard R. Clark Senior Center, and a volunteer rep-payee with Social Security Administration.

She collected dolls, puzzles, books, and cartoons. She spent her early life living in Los Angeles, California and abroad for numerous years with her husband while in the Navy.

She is the daughter of the living Isaac Turner of Houston, TX and the living Geraldine Turner of Los Angeles, CA.

She is also survived by her husband of twenty eight years, Paul A. Joseph, Sr. 2 sons, Paul A. (Nichelle) Joseph, Jr. Of Waldorf, MD. And DeSean Joseph of Manassas, VA. , one brother, Tony Jones, and one sister, Linda Tillman, both of Los Angeles, California. Also survived by seven grandchildren.

Her Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 9am until time of service at 10am at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD. Interment will follow at Maryland Veteran's Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
