Ronald Eugene Magill, "Ronnie", 60, of Welcome, passed away on May 22, 2012. Born on September 2, 1951 in Washington D.C. He was the son of the late James Milton Magill, Jr., and Sara Elizabeth Magill (Evans).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brother; Richard Lee Magill.

Ronnie is survived by his Sister; Linda Hattaway (Magill). Brothers; John Magill and Mark Magill. Sister-In-Laws; Carolyn Magill, Barbara Magill, and Tammy Magill. He is also survived by his children; Jesse Magill, Tammy Datcher (Magill), Katie Magill, and Lucas Magill. Daughter-In-Law; Jennifer Magill (Flynn), and Son-In-Law; Jermaine Datcher. His Grandchildren; Tyler Magill, Jake Magill, and Tori Datcher. Along with many nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

Ronnie was an avid horseman and worked as a Farrier at Bowie and Laurel Racetrack. He loved horse racing, and training his horses. Ronnie was a simply man and a true family man. He loved being with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He loved being at his home and in his barn, working around the farm he built. He enjoyed fishing, coon hunting, and being outdoors as well.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 5 pm until 8 pm at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. in La Plata. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 9 am. Interment will follow at the Queen of Peace Cemetery in Mechanicsville, MD.
