Anne Wilhelm Drenning, 87 of California, MD died April 24, 2012 at the Hospice House of St. Mary's. Born November 8, 1924 in Konnarock, VA, she was the daughter of the late Charles Wilhelm and Delia (Hart) Wilhelm.

Anne worked for the government at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station in procurement for several years. She was a women's rights activist.

Anne is survived by her daughter, Karin A. Gruber (Herb) of Merritt Island, FL, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Caleb "Jim" K. Drenning and her son, James D. Drenning.

Services will be private.
