Linda Willett worked for the Charles County Board of Education as a Special Needs Teacher for 30+ years and was a volunteer for the Special Olympics, she was also a member of New Life Church in La Plata. She enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking, and theater. She was very dedicated and involved with her kids and grandchildren.
She is the daughter of the late Charles Edward Cary and the late Helen Geraldine Miller and is predeceased by her grandson, Jason Schulz. Mrs. Willett is survived by her husband of 53 years, David R. Willett; two sons, Todd B. (Suzanne) Willett of Plano, TX and Scott Willett of Waldorf, MD; three daughters, Lisa W. (Rod) Ritter of Port Republic, MD, Stacie Schulz of Waldorf, MD, and Amanda W. (Robert) Adamson of White Plains, MD; one sister, Maxine Mullen of Uniontown, PA; also survived by seven grandchildren.
Her viewing will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 2-4PM and 6- 8PM with Prayers at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Ave., La Plata, MD 20646).
Her funeral service will be on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 10AM at New Life Wesleyan Church(9690 Shepherds Creek Place, La Plata, MD 20646). Her internment will immediately follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
Pallbearers will include Rod Ritter, Robert Adamson, Eddie Hayden, Steven Schulz, Shawn Willett, and Cameron Adamson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Charles County Special Olympics (8190 Port Tobacco Rd., Port Tobacco, MD 20677).
