On Thursday, May 31, 2007, HELEN J. JURNEY died at the Washington Hospital Center. Born July 15, 1917, she is the daughter of the late Jack and Ruby Ketchel. She married the late William H. Jurney in 1940. Helen is survived by her daughters, Sharon Richards of Morningside, MD and Peggy Barba of Annapolis, MD; son, Richard Jurney of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Stanley Ketchel of LaPlata, MD; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the LEE FUNERAL HOME CALVERT, P.A., 8125 Southern Maryland Blvd. (Rt. 4 and Fowler Rd.) Owings, MD on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where service will be held on Tuesday, June 5 at 1 p.m. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD.
