Mary Marguerite Milstead of Bryans Road, MD died on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD. She was 81 years old.

Mrs. Milstead was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pomfret, MD. She loved cooking, crocheting, and Bingo as well as being with her family. She enjoyed traveling and eating out. She was an animal lover.

Daughter of the late Raphel Wallace Burch and the late Ruth Virginia Welch Burch.

Predeceased by her parents; her late husband, James Davis Milstead; and four late brothers.

Survived by four sons, James D. Milstead of Upper Marlboro, MD, C. Russell Milstead of Bryans Road, MD, Wallace E. Milstead of Baltimore, MD, and Carroll R. Milstead of Baltimore, MD; two daughters, Mary Virginia Ford of Bryans Road, MD and Margaret Ann Milstead of Mechanicsville, MD. Also survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation: Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 9:30AM-11AM with Funeral Service at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Clergy: Fr. Mark Smith. Interment: Chicamuxen Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers: By family.
