Michael A. DiZebba, Sr. age 86 of La Plata, Maryland died on March 5, 2012 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was born on August 28, 1925 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Fiorvante DiZebba and Gemma DiZebba. He is also predeceased by his wife Ada DiZebba of 62 years, brother Geaton DiZebba, sisters Elizabeth Latini, and Rita DiZebba.

He is survived by his son Michael A. DiZebba, Jr. and his wife Linda, daughter Denise Quinn and her husband John, daughter Michele Harris and her husband Richard, daughter Joanne Charters and her husband Mike, sisters Marie Earnshaw, Gloria Kendall, Gilda Rapson, grandchildren Michael Quinn, Anthony Harris, Kristen Long, Jenna Kranke, Melissa Charters, great grandchildren Nicholas Long, Noah Long, Ethan Harris, Alaina Harris, Alexis Quinn, Olivia Quinn, and Lily Kranke.

He was an avid golfer, he worked as a brick mason owning his own construction business, enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved Florida in the winter.

The family will receive friends on Monday March 12, 2012 at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, PA 211 St. Mary's Ave. La Plata, Md, 20646 from 3 to 7pm. Where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 13th at 9am. Fr. John Mattingly will officiate. The interment with military honors will follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Cheltenham, Md. Pallbearers will be Michael Quinn, Tony Harris, Michael Kranke, Jeff Long, Dean Campbell, and Robert Earnshaw.
