Dorothy Ellen "Dot" Stewart of Waldorf, MD, died on Monday, January 30, 2012 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD. She was 77 years old.

Dot was a Registered Nurse for 30 plus years, having worked for Clinton Nursing Home, Southern MD Hospital, and Civista Medical Center. She attended South Potomac Church in White Plains, MD and enjoyed knitting, ceramics, and bowling. She loved her dogs "Sam", "Boo", and "Chris". She was also a very busy mom at home with six kids.

Daughter of the late Donald Harold Brickley and the late Ruth Eva Shuttleworth Brickley. Predeceased by her parents; and one late son, Rusty Stewart.

Survived by four sons, Charles Leon (Gail) Stewart of Montana, Donald Ward (Bonnie) Stewart of Marbury, MD, Gary Edwin and Michael Roy Stewart, both of Waldorf, MD; two daughters, Tammy Ann Fazenbaker of Hollywood, MD and Becki Andrews of Indian Head, MD; and three sisters, June Eckenrode of Waldorf, MD, Donna Rhodes of Mechanicsville, MD, and Linda Caswell of Bellwood, PA. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
