Gloria "Butchie" M. Pace, 64, of Bryans Road passed away Friday, May 4, 2007 at Civista Hospital after battling a long illness. After divorcing her husband in 1979, Gloria made a life for her and her three children in Bryans Road. She worked for The Sundae Shop and Jerry's Subs in Indian Head.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Evelyn Welch, sisters Evelyn "Dee" Horne, Janet C. Bowie, and Dorothy "Dot" Bladen, brothers Alan "Sonny" Welch, and Luther "Lou" Welch. She is survived by her children, Robin Howell of Bryans Road, Edward Dean and Mary Pace of Waldorf, and Tim Pace of Bryans Road. She was the grandmother to Crystal and Donny Largen, Jimmy Stewart, Jason Stewart, and Michael Howell. She left behind three
great grandchildren, Bailey and Jacob Largen, and Tyler Stewart. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at Williams Funeral Home in Indian Head on Tuesday, May 8th 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 9th at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Bryans Road.

Pallbearers are Edward Dean Pace, Don Williams, Michael Howell, Russell Willet, Jimmy Stewart, and Jason Stewart.

Gloria will be laid to rest at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf.
