Grant Lee Rosier was born on March 25, 1941 in Bel Alton, Maryland to Mary Kathleen Rosier and the late Arthur Rosier.

He suffered a brief illness and died on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at the Civista Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland.

Grant was a lifelong resident of Charles County, Maryland. He enjoyed helping people, especially Charles (Rabbit) and Toots Bowling in the tobacco fields. He also enjoyed spending time with family and his long time friend, John Pew. Grant loved to see the fruits of his labor come to life and that is why he also enjoyed farming and gardening.

He leaves to mourn his passing but to cherish fond memories, his mother, Kathleen Rosier; four sisters, Violet Lancaster, Agnes Gaines (Joseph Gaines), Mary Gross and Gloria Gross Washington (Lawrence Washington); four brothers, George Rosier, John Rosier (Helen Rosier), Walter Gross and Harry Gross (Patricia Gross); one goddaughter, Jessica Rosier Cole and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

His Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 from 8:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, Maryland.
