Judith Ruth House, 68, of La Plata, MD died January 14, 2012 at home.

Judy worked as a clerk for Safeway for 29 years. She enjoyed playing billiards and was a four time league champion. After retirement, Judy pursued her true passion, playing golf. She enjoyed working at the White Plains golf course where she had many wonderful friends. She loved her family deeply and had many people who loved her.

Born October 7, 1943 in Bentree, WV, she was the daughter of the late Roy A. Miller and Ruth W. Miller. She is also preceded in death by her brother Roy (Arnie) Miller.

Judy is survived by her husband of 50 years, Arnold Lee House, her daughters, Sonja and her husband Wendell Twombly of Indian Head, MD, Natalie and her husband Andrew Simpson of White Plains, MD, grandchildren, Daniel Twombly, Gina Bohl, Michael Keys II, Jeffrey Keys, Brian Keys, and great grandchildren Brandon and Morgan Keys.

A life celebration memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18th at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home in La Plata, MD. The Reverend Craig Endicott will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, January 18th.

At the Dodd-Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs, WV, a visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, January 20th. Burial will follow at the Miller Cemetery on Grassy Creek Road in Webster Springs, WV.

Memorial donations may be made to either Hospice of Charles County, PO Box 1703, La Plata, MD 20646 or to the Miller Cemetery for perpetual care; checks may be made out to the "Miller Cemetery Account", and sent to Peoples Bank, 2513 Jackson Avenue, Point Pleasant, WV 25550.
