Sally Marie Williams Conner, 94, of Charlotte Hall, MD, formerly of Marlow Heights, MD died peacefully at her residence on January 5, 2012. Born February 18, 1917 in South Carolina, she was the daughter of James Butler Williams and Annie Sue Richbourg Williams.

Sally retired from the C & P Telephone Company Business Office after having worked for them for many years. Sally was involved in many organizations
among them the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Emily Nelson Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Colonial Dames of America, the National Huguenot Society, UDC Real Granddaughters (United Daughters of the Confederacy), and a lioness with the Lions Club.

Sally was predeceased by her parents; husband, Everett Clinton Conner; sons, Jerry and Neil Conner; siblings, Mildred Frydell, Vivian Leech, Bernice Wilkinson, Louise Scaffe and Evelyn Shackelford.

She is survived by her son, Brian Conner of Oklahoma; daughters-in-law, Sherry Conner of Charlotte Hall, MD and Patricia Conner of Houston, TX; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in Sally's name to Hospice of Charles County, P.O. Box 1703, La Plata, MD 20646.
