Larry David Thompson was born to the late Harry Conway Thompson and the late Mary Brent Swann Thompson on January 28, 1950 in Forestville, Maryland. Larry departed this life on Monday, April 23, 2007 at the Forestville Health and Rehabilitation Center in Forestville, Maryland.

He grew up and attended schools in Maryland and in the District of Columbia. Larry worked as a building maintenance engineer, doing painting, yard work & laying carpet.

He was a devoted son and brother. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing watching television, especially old movies. He was passionate about collecting American Indian artifacts and attended many local Pow-wows.

He is survived by five sisters, Mary Lucille Amman-Henderson, Ruth Thompson, Bernice Madison, Jane Savoy and Carolyn Gray; one brother Melvin Thompson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Swann and three brothers, Raymond, James, and William (Tub) Thompson.

His Viewing and Funeral were held on Monday, April 30, 2007 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Baden/Brandywine, Maryland. His Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, Maryland.

Arrangements were entrusted to Thornton Funeral Home, P.A. Pomonkey, Maryland.
