Patricia Lee Tippett, 63, of Mechanicsville, MD died December 30, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. Born April 3, 1948 in Arlington, VA, she was the daughter of Roy Edwin Lee and Dorothy Baldwin Lee.

Patricia worked for many years as a Staff Assistant for the House of Representatives on Capitol Hill. She will be remembered as someone who always took care of others, especially her grandchildren. She also was a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital for many years.

Predeceased by her parents, Patricia is survived by her husband, Joseph Guy Tippett, Sr.; children, Tina Marie Barrett and Joseph Guy Tippett, Jr.; brothers, Sidney, Roy and Donald Lee and 6 grandchildren, Lucas, Tyler and Sydney Barrett and Gavin, Logan and Mason Tippett.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 2, 2011 from 6 - 8:00p.m. at the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A, 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. Prayers will be held at 7p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, January 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, Morganza, MD. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Helen, MD. Pallbearers will be Sidney Lee, Roy Lee, Donald Lee, Mark Hancock, Lee Guy and Wilbur Tippett.
