Mary MacKay Wilson of La Plata, MD died on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Charles County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in La Plata, MD. She was 82 years old.

Mrs. Wilson was a Printing Analyst for 26 years with the Department of Transportation (U.S. Government) and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in La Plata, MD where she volunteered for 20 years. She was a member of the Clark Senior Center, where she also did volunteer work. She enjoyed cross-stitching, crocheting, cross words, gardening, and was an avid collector of bells. She most loved traveling in Europe (Scotland) and Hawaii.

Daughter of the late James Park and the late Christina Young MacKay.

Predeceased by her parents and one late brother, James Park.

Survived by her husband of 32 years, Philip Wilson; two sons, Dexter J. (Eva) Bjurstrom of NC and Bernard W. Bjurstrom of AZ; two daughters, Marabeth W. (Henry) Ebel of Waldorf, MD and Christina R. (David) Roberts of Hughesville, MD; two step- daughters, Judy (Lenny) Jones of OK and Diane (Larry) Hudgins of Fredericksburg, VA. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation: Friday, December 30, 2011 from 10AM until time of Memorial Service at 11AM at Grace Lutheran Church (1200 Charles Street, La Plata, MD 20646) Clergy: Rev. Charles Long. Interment: Friday, December 30, 2011 at 2:30 PM at Trinity Memorial Gardens - Waldorf, MD.
