Margaret Viola Murphy Schuhart., 85 of Chaptico, MD passed away on December 21, 2011 at Leonardtown, MD. Born March 26, 1926 in Dentsville, MD; she was the daughter of the late Frederick Aqusta and Ella Gwenette Harris Murphy.

Margaret was the loving wife of the late John Oscar Schuart, Sr, whom she married on April 5, 1948 in Newport Church.

She is survived by her children: John Oscar Schuhart (Dot), Judith Ann Richards (David), and Betty Jean Pasko (Joseph) all of Chaptico, MD, grandchildren: Amanda Jean Pasko, Nicole Lynn Lawrence, and Elizabeth Annie Parham, one great-grandchild: Johnathan Mac Lawrence, siblings: James Henry Schuhart of Chaptico, MD, George Hamilton Schuhart of Bel Alton, MD, and Daniel Webster Schuhart of Clinton, MD.

Margaret graduated from La Plata High School. She was a home maker and housewife.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD with prayers recited at 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church with Father Jerry Gamrot officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart catholic cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Johnny Schuhart, Mike Schuhart, Jeffrey Schuhart, Mac Lawrence, Darrell Parham, and Tim Stapenhurst.
