Sharon Jean Garner of Indian Head, MD died on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the University of MD Medical Center in Baltimore City, MD.

Mrs. Garner was a Dental Assistant for Dr. Earl Donaldson for over 27 years. She enjoyed reading, going to concerts, and visiting historical sites, homes and gardens. The joy of her life was the family gatherings on holidays and special events. She particularly loved the opportunities to spend time with her five grandsons. She was regarded as a very special aunt by her nieces.

Daughter of the late Richard Floyd Weightman and the late Arlene Dorothy Lemnah Weightman.

Predeceased by her parents.

Survived by two sons, Jon Harvey Garner, II of McHenry, MD and Damon Emory Garner of Davidsonville, MD; five grandsons, Talon, Andrew, Dyllan, Brandon, and Calev; sisters, Diane Lobaugh of Pomfret, MD, Debra A. Gale of Edgewater, MD; brother, Larry Weightman of Bryans Road, MD; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 4-8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel (5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). Funeral Service: Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Chapel. Clergy: Rev. Steve Larson. Interment: Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Washington National Cemetery in Suitland, MD. Pallbearers: Family members.
