Romolo Rastelli of La Plata, MD died on Friday, November 25, 2011 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, MD. He was 91 years old.

Mr. Rastelli was an Industrial Specialist for 35 years with the Department of the Navy and a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. He was a Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata, MD where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Archbishop Neale Council #2279 and the Holy Name Society. He loved opera "Pavarotti", going to casinos, and an avid Redskins fan.

Son of the late Dominic Antonio Rastelli and the late Pasqualina Ventura Rastelli.

Predeceased by his parents.

Survived by his wife of 65 years, Anna J. Rastelli; two sons, John M. Rastelli of La Plata, MD and Thomas S. Rastelli of Ocean View, DE; one sister-in-law, Edna H. Padgett of La Plata, MD. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM with Wake Service at 6PM and Knights of Columbus Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.

Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Plata, MD 20646. Clergy: Fr. Robert Buchmeier. Interment: Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Members of the Knights of Columbus. Honorary Pallbearers: United States Army Honor Guard.
