Charlene "Char" Frances Falken, 57, of Waldorf, MD died suddenly and unexpectedly on November 22, 2011 at Washington Hospital Center in DC. Born August 30, 1954 in Plainfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Robert Graham Sr. and Helen P. Grupallo.

She married Donald R. Falken Jr. June 30, 1979 in Rutherford, NJ.

Charlene worked as a Charles County School Nurse for the past 19 years and has been a resident of Maryland since 1985. In 1972, she was in the first graduating class of Hillsborough NJ High School. She received her nursing education and training from Princeton NJ Medical Center and has been licensed since 1974. In 2006, she graduated from the College of Southern Maryland with an AA in Liberal Arts and in 2007 she graduated with honors from the Message Therapy Program with AAS.

She was known for being a Mom to everyone and for being strong willed and having a lively sprit with immense love and devotion to her family. Her interests included listening to music, attending concerts, spending time in the mountains and hiking, traveling anywhere, gardening, practicing Reiki holistic wellness, kayaking in southern Maryland and she enjoyed good times with friends. She will be remembered as a wonderful nurturing mother, a great cook and for having enormous energy, being well organized and intuitive with a beautiful heart. She will always be a Super Hero to her family.

Charlene is survived by her husband Donald R. Falken Jr. and her children Donald Falken III and Caitlin Jayne Falken.

The family will receive friends from 3 PM until time of services at 4 PM on Tuesday November 29th, 2011 at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, 211 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. 301-934-8342.
