Judith Ann Whitt, 72, Of Waldorf, MD passed peacefully at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. Born July 19, 1939 in Beloit, KS, she was the daughter of Henry Myers and Nellie E. Gibson Myers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Harold Whitt.

She is survived by her daughter Alisa Jacobs of St. Mary's County; son, Scott Askren of Charles County and step-children, Gail Halt and Ronnie Whitt. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren as well as 14 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and the wonderful Richard Moore and his great family.

Judy loved being at the ocean in Delaware or playing one of her favorite slot machines. She became a Redskin fan many years ago and cheered them on with her friends at the American Legion.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD on Thursday, October 27, 2011 between 2 - 4p.m. and 6 - 8p.m. There will be a Memorial Life Celebration at the same location on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in memory of Judith Whitt may be directed to support the Oncology Nursing at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.
