Larry Lee Lobaugh, 67, of Pomfret, MD, died September 23, 2011, at his home with Hospice after a long hard fight against cancer. Born April 29, 1944, in Washington, DC, he was the middle son of the late Harry Truman Lobaugh, Sr. and the late Arline Pearl Pyles.

Mr. Lobaugh grew up in the Marlow Heights, MD, area and graduated from Suitland High School. He served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Kansas from 1963 to 1967. Mr. Lobaugh successfully initiated and guided the local business, Century Office Services, Inc. from 1980 until 2011.

Until the last couple of years he was an active member of the Waldorf Loyal Order of the Moose. He enjoyed many years of playing in Horseshoe and Pool Leagues in Southern Maryland. The bright spots of his life centered around his wife, daughters, grandchildren and family members. He loved traveling and meeting people. Even during his last stuggeling years, he happily made some of the dream trips a reality having traveled to Yellowstone, Alaska and taking a Caribbean Cruise.

Predeceased by his parents.

Survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 47 years, Diane Lynn Weightman Lobaugh; beloved daughters, Leanne Lobaugh of Indian Head, MD; Cherise Blyler and her husband Ethan of Mechanicsville, MD. Also survived by grandchildren, Jessica Lembach, Bradley Sebastian, Tara Sebastian, Jordan Blyler, Aaron, Blyler and Megan Blyler. Brothers, William D. Lobaugh of Las Vegas, NV; Harry Lobaugh, Jr.; sisters, Jean Polk of Tyler, TX and Nancy Lobaugh of Waldorf, MD. He also leaves behind a special brother-in-law, Larry Weightman; sister-in-law, Sharon J. Garner, Debra Anne Gale and her husband Kenneth Gale, Sr. and a host of wonderful long time friends.

Visitation will be September 27, 2011, from 5PM until 8PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Funeral Service will be September 28, 2011, at 10AM at Lakeside United Methodist Church, Waldorf, MD. Rev. Mandy Sayers and Rev. Anthony Love will officiate. Honorary Pallbearers will be the United States Air Force Honor Guard. Interment will be at Washington National Cemetery, Suitland, MD.

Repast will be held at the Waldorf Moose Lodge 1709 in White Plains, MD.
